8 Oct 2008 - Gallery Updates: It's been a while but I have finally taken some time to update the gallery. Here is what you can find...
I recently took a ride in an aerobatic stunt plane and had a blast. You can see it here.
I took a day off work and checked out the MotoGP races while they were in town.
The following weekend I took Friday off and had the opportunity to shoot the Indy 4wd Jambo from the best seats in the house.
I have also updated pictures for Sidney, Abby and Aidan.
Stay tuned for a trip report and photos from our trip to Monterey this past weekend.
8 Sep 2008 - One Down, One to Go: It was a busy weekend but I was actually able to get the garage straightened out enough to get one car in, finally! I imagine you can guess which car is in the garage....no not mine this time I let Jen have the garage first. The cabinets are coming along very nicely and should be finished sometime very soon at which point we'll have to have a party and pretend to work on something while drinking beer.
In addition to the major milestone in garage organization we were fortunate enough for Uncle Mike to drop in and visit with us one night. Sindey was more than excited to show off the new place to him. We even introduced him to Peggy, whom we keep in the basement. We grilled out some delicious steaks and Uncle Mike was gracious enough to bring us some fresh rolls. Much to our suprise the rolls were in fact jelly filled! First class all the way!
27 Aug 2008 - Official Times:
Well it was way back in May and I still haven't seen my trophy but I took the Evo racing for charity and had a blast while I was at it. I struggled about with the drags letting my nerves get the best of me and ruin my launches but in the end I did OK. I have one problem with Autocross and that is my lack of use of that peddle in the middle that people use to slow themselves down, for some reason I just can't ever find it, well thats not true, I don't ever look. As for the slalom course, well no brakes were involved so I took first place in my class! I also took 5th over all in the car show, but who cares about that, I was there to race!

4 Aug 2008 - First Boat Ride: Sidney had her first boat ride a little over a week ago when we all went up to Diamond Lake in Michigan to visit with Grandpa at a "cottage" he rented on the water. A fun weekend was had by all. I think Sidney is half fish as it's a fight to get her out of the water. Abby enjoyed the weekend too having her first camp out with her daddy and her uncle Dave and it went suprisingly well.
Check out all the pictures here!
1 Aug 2008 - More Photos!: It's been a long time coming, but as we settle into our new house I am finally finding some time get caught up on our photos and make more regular updates. Last night I finally got the pictures from our March trip to Santa Barbara for Lacie's wedding posted. You can see them here. We had fantastic weather for the trip and we had a great time while we were there.
Of all the pictures I took, these two here are my favorites. I've really got something for sunset pictures.
In addition to slowly getting caught up, I was actually able to get a head in my studio at the house for practicing since it seems I lack a patient model. Meet Peggy my new assistant. I think most people are creeped out by Peggy, but she is really helping me to figure out some different lighting setups and she allows me to take my time and think about what I am doing.
That's all for today. I really just wanted to share the Santa Barbara photos with all of my loyal readers.
